The Tap Room Manger is responsible for managing operations at the Angry Horse Brewing flagship taproom. Managing operations is broken down into three areas, staffing, sales and experience. 

The position is responsible for hiring, training, coaching and developing a team of staff to ensure we exceed the expectations on our customers while maintaining the desired staffing ratios to sales. The Taproom Manager is responsible for ensuring taproom sales meet the ambitious sales goals of the taproom. They are also in charge of planning local events that help to grow a sense of community, grow sales and create experiences for our family of customers. 

The Taproom Manager is a key position on the Angry Horse Team and has the opportunity to grow and develop with the organization.

Experience/Skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred or applicable work experience

Knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry

Cicerone Certification desired or willing to achieve certification

3 years minimum bar/restaurant, brewery/winery, retail management

Purchasing, inventory controls, marketing, and budgetary controls

Knowledge and experience with Restaurant POS System

Skills and experience in verbal communication and customer focus,

Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and events

Excellent customer service, interpersonal and proven leadership skills
